F1
F! January'13, 2005
NOA Project Number: E04070B
F1Page 4
exceeded the minimum requirements requested by the RWQCB in the WDRs. Any supplemental
irrigation water applied to the walnut orchard will be calculated from differential analysis of the
F pump engine's hour meter. Neutralized wastewater, documented by FMC chlorination controllers,
from the asparagus and cherry hydrocoolers will be logged by their respective flow meters, as well as
the main wastewater pond inflow meter. Treatment of the hydrocoolers with sodium thiosulfate to
neutralize free chlorine should eliminate the production of THMs in the wastewater ponds. Flows
from non-chlorinated sources other than the hydrocoolers —such as wash down and cleanup water,
as well as storm water runoff-will be metered by the wastewater pond inflow meter. Measurement
of onsite rains from a rain gauge which is mounted to the west of the front offices, should lead to an
accurate estimate of the volume of storm water produced per inch of measured rainfall. These
meters and system, when coupled with accurate record keeping, should allow for precise water
F1 balance of the site and allow definition of all sources contributing to the wastewater pond and
applied to the orchard.
FiLimitations
This report was produced using information provided by the client and on site observations on the
date recorded.
