Soil Separator, <br /> Reemay Spunbond Tileguard or Typar. <br /> b. Sand bedding: clean washed sand, approved by Don Chesney prior <br /> to installation <br /> 6. Piping and Appurtenances: <br /> a. Leach field transport lines, manifolds and laterals: PVC schedule <br /> 40 with solvent weld fittings, ASTM D 1784 and D 1785 <br /> b. Pump discharge piping and force mains: PVC schedule 40 with <br /> solvent weld fittings, ASTM D 1784 and D 1785 <br /> c. Gravity sewer piping: PVC SDR 35, ASTM D-3034 with gasketted <br /> joints and solvent weld fittings. <br /> d. Check valves at leach field: 1.5" size, Orenco KSC 1500-S <br /> e. Check valves at pump discharges: Danfoss Flomatic Model 208S <br /> ball check valve with PVC body, socket weld ends and Buna-N ball. <br /> f. Flushing assembly at leach field: 1" size, Orenco SEK 100V <br /> g. Vent pipe for tanks: 3" Sch. 40 aluminum pipe and fittings, NPT or <br /> welded. Provide stainless steel screen on end of vent (1/8" mesh) <br /> 7. Electrical conduit: <br /> a. Underground: Schedule 40 PVC <br /> b. Aboveground: Schedule 40 aluminum, wrapped with 10 mil tape <br /> where in contact with the ground. <br /> 8. Electrical junction boxes: traffic rated precast concrete, size as required. <br /> 9. Septic tanks: shall be a single-wall fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) <br /> Underwriters Laboratories-labeled, IAPMO approved, H2O traffic rated, <br /> underground storage tanks as shown on the drawings. The tank size, <br /> fittings and accessories shall be as shown on the drawings. Interior <br /> appurtenances shall all be provided and installed by the tank <br /> manufacturer (excluding pump, float switch support and pump <br /> discharge piping). Effluent filters shall be provided by the Contractor <br /> and installed in the factory by the tank manufacturer. No connections to <br /> the tank shall be made in the field except for piping connections to inlet <br /> and outlet piping and piping connections through risers. Risers shall.be <br /> provided by the tank manufacturer and installed in the field. The <br /> fiberglass tank shall be manufactured by Xerxes Corporation. Alternate <br /> manufacturer: Containment Solutions, Inc. <br /> a. Anti-flotation: manufacturer shall determine the need for anti- <br /> flotation devices based upon the information provided in the <br /> drawings.
