February 16,2006 Krystle Wong,Administrative Assistant Old Republic Title Company 3000 Clayton Road Concord,CA 94519 Re: Tract Name/No.: Tract No.3560 APN: 007-380-11 Location: 11230 East Jahant Road,Unincorporated San Joaquin County,nearest the City of Lodi The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department has received your request for a letter from our Department regarding Tract No.3560.The Environmental Health Department will approve individual sewage disposal systems and water wells on the above referenced lots under the following conditions: Engineer-designed septic systems shall be installed per San Joaquin County Sewage and Well Standards for the following: Lot#3,Lot#5, and Lot#6. The engineer-designed septic plans are on file with the EHD. The following lots demonstrated passing percolation rates and standard septic systems shall be designed and installed per San Joaquin County Sewage and Well Standards for the following: Lot#1,Lot#2,and Lot#4. The installation of the septic systems must be under an application permit,inspection and approved by this Department. The permit fee is$450.00-$600.00 and is due at time of application. Systems must consist of a septic tank; leach field,and seepage pits sized at the time of construction according to the San Joaquin County Sewage Standards. Based on the percolation test, sewage pits shall be required on the individual parcels at the time of development. The installation of water wells and pump must be under permit,inspection,and approved by this Department. The water well permit fee is$350.00,and the pump permit fee is$50.00,due at time of application. Wells are to have a minimum 100-foot grout seal and be installed according to the San Joaquin County Well Standards. The water in the general vicinity has been found to be bacteriologically potable;however,chemical quality has not been ascertained other than nitrate which were found to be within state standards for public drinking water. However,there are no State or local regulations that apply public drinking water standards to private wells.
