The compost will be sorted and screened at an offsite certified <br /> recycling facility before being trucked to the one-acre project site where it will be configured into windrows. The windrows will <br /> be turned and monitored for temperature and moisture content to create the proper conditions for the production of compost. <br /> When composting is complete, the compost will be spread on the surrounding 300 plus acres of vineyards owned by Good <br /> Earth Farms. <br /> The Property is zoned AG-40(General Agriculture)and the General Plan Designation is AIG (General Agriculture). <br /> PROJECT LOCATION: The project site is located on the east side of Johnson Road 1500 feet south of State Route 12 <br /> Highway, east of Clements(APN/Address: 023-280-06; 23000 N. Johnson Road, Clements) (Supervisorial District 4) <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: A Negative Declaration is being proposed for adoption. Copies of the Initial Study <br /> and proposed Negative Declaration are available at the Community Development Department. <br /> APPLICATION REVIEW: If you have any recommendations or comments on this project, please submit them to the <br /> Community Development Department no later than October 28, 2003.
