Box 564 <br /> Clements, Ca. 95227 <br /> Re: Application# PA-0300014 (SA) To be used for the creation <br /> of a compost site for urban yard refuse. <br /> I want to express my opposition to the creation of this compost site for urban yard refuse. <br /> Our primary residence is located directly west of the proposed site. We did not receive <br /> official notification of this project. Many neighbors adjacent to this project are totally <br /> unaware of this proposal for a compost dumpsite. Development of this dumpsite would <br /> create an eyesore for all surrounding neighbors. Compost piles this size would also <br /> create a foul odor that will create a negative impact on the resale of property for all the <br /> neighbors in close proximity to this new dumpsite. Our county road that leads to this <br /> proposed site is in terrible condition and cannot handle the additional heavy traffic from <br /> the large trucks required to dump this refuse. Stagnant watershed would nun directly into <br /> Bear Creek from this proposed site. We already have washouts from the local rock plant <br /> that has created major problems with the ecosystem on Little Bear Creek <br /> I would like to be notified of your determination for this project. I hope your department <br /> will refer this project to the Planning Commission for a public hearing so the local <br /> residents can express their feelings in regards to this proposed dumpsite. I would also like <br /> to be notified of any public hearings discussing this proposed project. Please add my <br /> name to your mailing list. Many local residents of Clements are very concerned about <br /> the development of a dumpsite at this location. Please consider the attached petition, <br /> signed by local residents, in opposition to this application for a garden refuse dumpsite in. <br /> Clements. We do not believe that this proposal has any positive impact on our <br /> agricultural community. <br /> Thank you. <br /> Jeff I�.
