Flesidential uses may be accommodated within vertically Integrated,mixed-use buildings or as stand-&long structures within the Town Center area. a. Deakin Guidelines. Town Center Uses. The Town Center is intended as a iorWoii for apeclalty shopping,entertalnment,office, parks,high density housing and civic functions. Multipie or mixed uses within each bullding(such as retail, office, entertainment and residential)and vertical IntegrAfon of uses are encouraged. Awnings,canopies,projecting signs and trellises shall be utiltzed to provide visual interest and a more pedestrian scale.
