State law requires that land use within
G7 11 K I i I I airport areas of influence must conform to the Airport Land Use Plan (ALUP).
The lot line adjustment application between the two (2) parcels located at (APN/Address: 005-
1IIF il-V It ( F
180-27; 23599 North Kennefick Road, Acampo) falls within the Conical Zone of the Lodi Lind's
Airport's Area of Influence. The criterion in the ALUP does not apply to a lot line adjustment.
However, for future reference, few restrictions are necessary for projects that fall within the Conical
zone. All proposed projects must adhere to the standards outlined in the 1993 amended Airport Land
Use Plan. The standards pertinent to these zones for all development include, but are not limited, to
the following:
The use of non-reflective materials, transmissions, and visual distractions to pilots;
➢ Residential uses are permitted if insulated to reduce interior noise to a level no higher than 45 dB;
➢ An avigation easement is recorded in favor of the Airport Operator; and,
➢ Proposed schools that are to be located within a 2-mile radius of an airport must undergo a review
by Caltrans Division of Aeronautics and the State Department of Education.
In addition, the property owner should be aware of the potential need to file FAA Form 7460-
1 entitled Notice of Proposed Construction or Alteration. This form can be accessed from
www.faa..ov/aro/ace/faafo_rms.htm and sent to FAA, P.O. Box 92007, Los Angeles, CA 90009
Attention: Airports District Office.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call Michael A.
Swearingen, Regional Planner at 468-3913 or mswearingen a,sicog.org.
S' erely,
I
f
ULIA E.
