MANURE MANAGEMENT PLAN <br /> Application # MS-91-100 William G. Lamkin, D.V.M. <br /> The veterinary facility located at 24818 N. Kennefick Road, <br /> Galt, California houses an average of three horses per day. <br /> PRIMARY PLAN <br /> The stalls are bedded with straw which , along with any manure, <br /> is removed and placed in an eight foot ( 8 ' ) manure spreader . The <br /> spreader is emptied daily by spreading the manure on the fields of <br /> neighboring farms . The amount of manure disposed of daily, varies <br /> from one ( 1 ) to five ( 5 ) wheel barrows depending on the number of <br /> horses in the facility on a given day. <br /> The following farmers and the amount of acreage each has upon <br /> which the manure is spread is as follows : <br /> Schulz Brothers 20 acres <br /> Gil Armstrong 40 acres <br /> Don Hora 26 acres <br /> Joe Texeira 5 acres <br /> ALTERNATE PLAN <br /> In the event that farm land is no longer available to continue <br /> with the Primary Plan as indicated above, a dumpster service will <br /> be utilized to remove the manure from the fa ',lity on a -weekly <br /> basis . <br /> I� --p] <br /> G <br /> JUN 2 5 1991 <br /> 1 ."A<ONMENTiAL HEAU H <br /> f:-R?.A7I_cCRViCES <br />
