Nos . D1A, DIB, D1C, DID, DIE and D2 were drilled and are shown on
the attached "Parcel Map" . Only Percolation Test Holes Nos . DID and
D2 were formally tested and fully reported on.
Percolation Test Hole Nos . DID and D2 from the ground surface
to depths of 13 ' 11" and 19 ' 08" , respectively, the soil is a brown
clay. At the 13 ' 11" and 19"08" depths layers of brown, sandy loam
with a trace of gravel were encountered. Though not formally tested
Percolation Test Hole No. D1C was similar in character to DID and
D2 . From the ground surface to a depth of 22 ' 00" , the soil is a
brown clay. At the 22 ' 00" depth a layer of brown, sandy loam with
a trace of gravel was encountered.
Percolation Test Hole Nos . DIA, D1B and DIE from the ground
surface to a depth of 25 feet the soil is a brown clay.
No water was encountered in drilling any of the deep percolation
test holes to a maximum depth of 25 feet . The San Joaquin County
Flood Control And Water Conservation Map entitled " "Lines of Equal
Depth To Water Wells" dated Fall 1990 shows the water to be in
excess of 110 feet below the ground surface.
Percolation Tests :
Only two ( 2) shallow percolation test holes were excavated to
about a 3-foot depth and tested. These were Percolation Test Hole
Nos . SIC and S2 . The location of these test holes are shown on the
attached Parcel Map. Six ( 6) deep percolation test holes were
drilled. These were Percolation Test Hole Nos . D1A, D1B, D1C, DID,
DIE and D2 . Only Percolation Test Hole Nos . DID and D2 were
formally tested and reported on. The location of all six (6) deep
percolation test holes are shown on the attached "Parcel Map" .
All percolation tests conducted were performed in accordance
with the percolation test procedures outlined in the "Manual Of
Septic Tank Practice" , published by the Department Of Health,
Education And Welfare and the requirements of the San Joaquin
County Public Health Service, Environmental Health Division.
On September 18 and 19 , 1991 , and October 1 and 2 , three (3)
percolation tests , two (2 ) shallow and one ( 1 ) deep and on October
1 and 2 another deep percolation test for a total of four (4) were
performed on the subject property under my direction in conformance
with San Joaquin County Public Health Service , Environmental Health
Division regulations and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code
Standards .
Percolation Test Hole Nos . SIC, DID, S2 and D2 , for Parcel
Nos . 1 and 2 resulted in the percolation rates and the
determinations shown on the attached "Field Note Sheets" and are
