The parcels appear suitable for <br /> the use of a standard septic system. <br /> No groundwater was encountered in any of the borings drilled on the property. The on-site <br /> water well was tested for nitrate and DBCP. DBCP was not detected in the well water sample. <br /> Nitrate was found at 79.0 mg/L-NO3 which is above the maximum contaminant level (MCL) of <br /> 45 mg/L-NO3 set by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This well should not be used <br /> for drinking water at this time.
