A recent aerial photograph of the Site is included as Plate 4.
The elevation of the Site, according to a United States Geological Survey topographic
map, is approximately 125 to 165 feet above mean sea level. The ground surface is
relatively flat: the area slopes downward gently toward the northeast (Plate 5).
The San Joaquin County Community Development Department web site states that the
Site is zoned AG-40, general agriculture with a minimum parcel size of 40 acres. This
zoning designation "is established to preserve agricultural lands for the continuation of
commercial agricultural enterprises."
Past Uses of the Site
Based on historical aerial photographs reviewed, the Site has been used for agriculture
since 1937 or earlier. Most structures on the Site appear to date to the 1970s or early
1980s. Former structures located at the northeast corners of each parcel were removed
when the Highway 132 right-of-way was constructed.
Existing and-Proposed Septic Tank Usa e
Existing Septic System
Three septic systems are currently located on Parcel -10 of the Site. One system
serves the residence, one serves the shop, and the third serves one or both mobile
homes. No known septic systems are located on Parcel -01.
Proposed Septic System
No new septic systems are proposed at this time. Any future construction would require
new septic systems.
On-Site Septic Permit History
Two permits for septic systems on the Site (Parcel -10) were identified at the San
Joaquin County Environmental Health Department.
• September 1976 permit for septic system installation at mobile home. The
System utilizes a 1,200-gallon tank and two 70-foot leach lines (475 W. Blewett).
• September 1976 permit for septic system installation at shop. The system
utilizes a 1,200-gallon tank and two 70-foot leach lines (475 W. Blewett).
These permits are included in Appendix 4.
LOGE 1118 Page 2
.......................................................................... .......................................... ......
...........................
