Burrowing Owl Habitat Assessment and Burrow Survey
►
Conclusions
A small amount of potentially suitable burrow habitat occurs in the Project site, specifically along
► the banks of Hospital Creek, and foraging habitat is limited. The breeding and non-breeding
season surveys determined that no resident burrowing owls occur within the Project area. The
lack of foraging habitat also would not support the use of the Project areas by burrowing owls
► from outside.
References
California Department of Fish and Game(CDFG). 1995.
