A bag house is typically a large metal box that contains fabric filter <br /> L "bags"to remove dust particles from the air. <br /> LPLANT CONSTRUCTION <br /> The plant construction will commence once the site preparation and grading of the plant site has <br /> been completed. The stationary plant will be constructed in the Phase IX area. The general plant <br /> Llayout is depicted in Figure 3-5. The general components of the aggregate plant include: <br /> • Primary crushing and screening tower <br /> • Surge pile <br /> • Three secondary and tertiary crushing and screening towers <br /> • Wet side washing and screening tower <br /> • Product stockpiles <br /> • Drive under product load-out tower <br /> • Radial stacker conveyor <br /> • Conveyors <br /> LAt its highest point,the aggregate plant will be 65 feet tall. <br /> LCONSTRUCTION OF ANCILLARY USES <br /> READY NIIX CONCRETE PLANT <br /> LA ready mix concrete batch plant will be constructed within the Phase IX area to the northwest of <br /> the aggregate plant. Figure 3-5 depicts the location of the batch plant.The concrete batch plant, <br /> L with an estimated production of 350,000 cubic yards per year, would have an office measuring <br /> approximately 500 square feet in size. The major components of the batch plant include: <br /> • Cement silos <br /> • Aggregate bins <br /> • Conveyors <br /> • Baghouse <br /> • Bermed admixture tank farm <br /> • Concrete reclaimer <br /> • Concrete lined washout basins <br /> L ASPHALT PLANT <br /> An asphalt batch plant will be constructed within the Phase D{area to the southwest of the <br /> Laggregate plant and south of the ready mix batch plant. Figure 3-5 depicts the location of the <br /> asphalt plant. The asphalt plant, with an estimated production of 400,000 tons per year, would be <br /> L owned and operated by a tenant of the applicant. The height of the structures and equipment <br /> would be approximately 65 feet to 100 feet above ground level. The tallest structure would be the <br /> asphalt plant tower, which would stand approximately 100 feet above ground level. The asphalt <br /> L plant would have an office approximately 500 square feet in size.
