An approved mining site that is not L yet in operation exists on Bird Road south of Blewett Road (Granite Quarry, formerly Brown Sand and Gravel). The typical peak hour project traffic anticipated to be generated by the Project is included in the analyses. The traffic volumes expected to be generated by the Granite Quarry are presented in Figure 9. These approved-project traffic volumes were estimated based on a review of the Environmental Impact Reports for Brown Sand and Gravel (final report dated July 1997, State Clearing House Number 96042075). IN Other proposed and approved projects in the vicinity of the Project site were not included in the values presented in Figure 9 because they are currently operating.
