Population Growth and Demand for <br /> Aggregate Materials <br /> ■ San Joaquin County is one of California's fastest <br /> growing counties. By 2050, the County's population is <br /> projected to grow by 213% , to more than 1 .7 million <br /> people. <br /> ■ The California Department of Conservation estimates <br /> that the 50-year demand for aggregate materials in the <br /> Stockton-Lodi Production-Consumption Region is <br /> approximately 728 million tons.
