Regulations implementing the HWCL list 791 hazardous chemicals and 20 or 30 more common substances that may be hazardous; establish criteria for identifying,packaging and labeling hazardous substances;prescribe management of hazardous substances;establish permit requirements for _ hazardous substances treatment, storage,disposal and transportation; and identify hazardous substances that cannot be deposited in landfills.
