1.Description of Proposed Revision: <br /> DeveIo Ment D artment—(staff contact: Kai Luoma @ 468-9567) <br /> A.) Revise Condition 1-n. to allow the beginning of reclamation, of an excavated <br /> phase, to be delayed until such time it is feasible to reclaim the phase. <br /> B.) Revise Condition- 1-u to allow the applicant to store water, in the initial <br /> processing pond, at a level above the invert of the Delta Mendota Canal. In <br /> addition, the applicant would like to amend the original application to show a <br /> change in location of the initial settling pond and the addition of a dike <br /> surrounding this pond. (See attached plans). <br /> Public Works—(staff contact: Gabe Karam @ 468-3023) <br /> A.) Revise Condition 2-a-1 by striking out the words "either Koster Road or"from the <br /> text of the condition. <br /> B.) Revise Condition 2-c by striking out the words"Koster Road" from the text of the j <br /> condition. <br /> C.) Revise Condition 2-d by striking out the words "Koster Road (including bridge) <br /> (paragraph 1), "bond" (paragraph 2), and "Koster Road" (paragraph 2) from the <br /> text of the condition. Where the word "bond" is stricken, replace it with the word <br /> "security". Also add the words "and form" to the first line. of the second <br /> paragraph, and the words "along the haul route" to the third line of the second <br /> paragraph(as indicated in the attached revised conditions). <br /> D.) Revise Condition 2-f by striking out the entire lead paragraph, all of item #1, and <br /> the words "If the entrance to the project site is located on Blewett Road" of item <br /> #2. k <br /> E.) Condition 1-n requests that reclamation of one phase commences.prior to the <br /> beginning of excavation of the next phase. In the applicants case this would not <br /> be feasible. The bottom of each phase of excavation will become the settling <br /> pond area for the next phase of excavation. During this time, the settling ponds <br /> on the bottom of the completed phase of excavation will be filling with the silts <br /> and clays from the washing of aggregates.
