DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE MEMORANDUM
UP-92-6
PAGE TWO
(3) Predicted noise levels considering present land usage.
The study should establish the existing ambient noise
environment in Leg, L1, L10, L50, L90, and Ldn. It
should be representative of the existing "normal" noise
environment. Discussion of the similarity or
dissimilarity during the study period with that during
other times of the year should be included;
(4) Predicted future noise environment, and the basis for
the prediction. Contours of future levels should be
included (down to Ldn sixty {601) , and superimposed
over project;
(5) Discussion on the impact of the project, including
anticipated; quantifiable changes in the noise
environment;
(6) Noise attenuation measures to be applied (i.e. noise
barrier, site design) . An acoustical study shall be
prepared under the supervision of a person experienced
in the field of acoustical engineering who is a full
member of the Institute of Noise Control Engineering
(Section 9-3801) .
C. Mitigation measures (e.g. noise walls, berms) identified by
the noise study shall be installed.
d. An Improvement Plan, showing drainage, driveway access
details, on-site parking, existing and proposed utility
services, and grading, shall be submitted for approval.
Storm drainage/additional run-off shall be retained on-site,
provisions shall be shown on the Improvement Plan/run-off.
Pond capacity calculations shall be submitted for approval
(Planning Tile Section 9-10002) .
e. An Encroachment Permit shall be required for work within
road right-of-way (Streets and Highway Title Section 10--
3103) .
This item is scheduled for the Planning Commission Hearing of
November 21, 1991.
CM/KA
c: Billy D. and Valerie E.
