Item No. 2
PC: 11-21-91
UP-92-6
Page 1
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Planning Commission:
1. Approve the Negative Declaration.
2. Approve Use Permit Application No. UP-92-6 with the Findings and the Conditions of
Approval given In the staff report.
FINDINGS
1. The establishment, maintenance, and operation of the use does not conflict with the General Plan.
• Staff can make this Finding because the proposed expansion of the home care facility
is consistent with the Low Density Residential General Pian designation for the site.
2. Adequate utilities, access roads, sanitation, drainage, and other necessary facilities have been
provided, and the proposed improvements are properly related to the existing and proposed
streets and highways.
Staff can make this Finding because the proposed project has frontage on a County
road and has public water service. Drainage and sewage disposal must meet County
standards for on-site facilities.
3, The property involved is of adequate size and shape to accommodate the proposed use and all
yards, building coverage, setbacks, parking areas, and other requirements of this Title.
• Staff can make this Finding because the site plan, along with the recommended
Conditions of Approval, will ensure-that all code requirements and other standards
will be met.
4. issuance of the permit will not be significantly detrimental to the public health, safety, or welfare
or be injurious to the property or improvements of adjacent properties.
• Staff can make this Finding because the Initial Study prepared for this project did not
Identify any effects that would be significantly detrimental to the public health, safety,
or weirare or be injurious .o iiie proper:, ;r in, prcvemant a cf acjac_n:
