Other requirements may also apply. <br /> A. Connection to an approved public water supply system is required (San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title, Section 9-1120.2) <br /> A letter from the water supplier will be required stating that they have the <br /> capacity to serve the development and that the system meets State standards <br /> prior to issuance of building permits (San Joaquin County Development Title, <br /> Section 9-1100.3). <br /> NOTE: The City of Tracy issued San Joaquin County a letter dated September 14, 2001, <br /> providing notice that the City of Tracy does not have water sources beyond its <br /> projected needs. A subsequent City of Tracy letter dated April 14, 2003 specific <br /> to this project, states that the city will provide water only for existing uses and if <br /> this project proceeds, water service will not be provided. <br /> The Environmental Health Department will require the applicant to obtain <br /> public water service in accordance with the San Joaquin County Development <br /> Title, Section 9-1120.3, due to water quality and septage studies completed in <br /> November 1981, March 1983, and March 1990. <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
