The Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board is the lead agency for overseeing the site investigation and remediation of <br /> contamination from all other sources of contamination and has ultimate regulatory <br /> authority for leaking underground storage tank sites. <br /> Page 40, Section 2.7.2 <br /> SJCEHD shall be notified and the site shall be investigated and re-mediated in <br /> accordance with regulatory requirements of SJCEHD, Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board, Department of Toxic Substance Control, or other appropriate federal, state, or <br /> local regulatory agencies. <br /> Page 41, Section 2.8 <br /> The SJCEHD is the permitting authority for construction of all wells in San Joaquin <br /> County.
