PA-0500647 OF WESTERN <br /> STONE PRODUCTS, INC.(C/O TERRY TRAVIS);(APN: 198-030-11; <br /> ADDRESS: 1945 E. LATHROP ROAD, LATHROP) <br /> This project is a Site Approval application for the expansion of a legal-nonconforming <br /> cement processing facility (batch plant). (Use Type: General Industrial-Heavy) The <br /> expansion includes a new wet batch mixer, cement silo, and new aggregate mixing system <br /> that will include two new screw conveyors, two charge conveyors, one transfer conveyor, <br /> one reclaiming conveyor, one reversing conveyor, and two new concrete bunkers. The site <br /> currently contains two offices, a maintenance shop, cement silo, aggregate bin, and wash <br /> racks. The General Plan designation is General Agriculture (AIG) and the zoning is General <br /> Agriculture-40 acre minimum (AG-40). <br /> The project is located on the northeast corner of E. Lathrop Road and the Union Pacific <br /> Railroad tracks, 1700 feet west of Airport Way, Lathrop. Access is from an unnamed <br /> road on the eastern side of the parcel owned by the City of Lathrop. <br /> On March 11, 2004, the San Joaquin County Community Development Department <br /> approved PA-0400001 to relocate the entrance to the batch plant and remove an existing <br /> dispatch office and replace it with a new 24 foot by sixty foot office. The applicant is still <br /> working on the Conditions of Approval. <br /> Access <br /> Access to a County maintained road must be provided before this project can be <br /> approved. The applicant can either complete the conditions of approval for Site Approval <br /> application No. PA-0400001 to permit access from cul-de-sac owned by the City of <br /> Lathrop or submit recorded documents that show access from the project parcel to <br /> Lathrop Road. <br /> Development Title Section 9-1015.5(h) states that access driveways must have a width <br /> of no less than twenty-five (25) feet for two-way aisles and sixteen (16)feet for one-way <br /> I <br />
