UP-00-17 OF THOMAS SCHUBERT <br /> AND HERVE CHEVAILIER <br /> The applicants, Thomas Schubert and Herve Chevaillier, have submitted the above <br /> referenced Use Permit Application to establish a new winery. The winery will be located <br /> in a 1,400 sq. ft. portion of an existing 2,800 sq. ft. accessory building. The remainder of <br /> the building will be used for personal storage/workshop space. The winery will produce <br /> approximately 500 cases of wine per year(1,189 gallons). Wine will be produced from <br /> juice purchased and shipped to the facility; one to three truck trips per year are <br /> expected. <br /> The winery will be open for public tastings approximately one year after the winery is <br /> established. The winery will be open for tastings on Saturday and Sunday for three to <br /> four hours each day. <br /> The project site is located on the west side of Lehman Road, 2,400 feet south of Linne <br /> Road, south of Tracy. <br /> This item is tentatively scheduled to be considered by the San Joaquin County Planning <br /> Commission on December 7, 2000. The Community Development Department has <br /> reviewed the proposed Use Permit and will be recommending that it be approved subject <br /> to the following recommended Conditions of Approval: <br /> Use Permit Application No. UP-00-17 was approved by the Planning Commission on <br /> . The effective date of approval is . This approval will expire on , which is 18 months <br /> from the effective date of approval, unless (1) all Conditions of Approval have been <br /> complied with, (2) all necessary building permits have been issued and remain in <br /> force, and (3) all necessary permits from other agencies have been issued and <br /> remain in force. <br /> Unless otherwise specified, all Conditions of Approval and ordinance requirements <br /> shall be fulfilled prior to the establishment of the use and the issuance of any <br /> building permits. Those Conditions followed by a Section Number have been <br /> identified as ordinance requirements pertinent to this application. Ordinance <br /> requirements cannot be modified, and other ordinance requirements may apply. <br />
