Curtis <br /> Civil Engineer <br /> C.E. # 11584 <br /> 418 Matthew Plaza <br /> Lodi , California 95240 <br /> Phone: (209) 368-4149 <br /> February 1 , 1992 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Service <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> Subject : Soil Suitability Study for the John and Wally Borges <br /> property which consists of dividing an existing parcel <br /> totaling 91 .4 acres into two parcels , (Parcel 1 to contain <br /> 40 .0 acres , and Parcel 2 to contain 51 .4 acres) . <br /> Submitted for your review and consideration are the results of <br /> Soil Profile and Percolation tests conducted on the John and Wally <br /> Borges property located in San Joaquin County at 26246 North <br /> Bruella Road, near Galt , California. <br /> Existing Septic System: <br /> Existing San Joaquin County Records were reviewed for the <br /> subject property as well as the area in the immediate vicinity of <br /> the subject property. A total of eight (8) permits were reviewed. <br /> Two (2) of the permits reviewed were for installations within the <br /> boundaries of Parcel No. 2 and were for a combination of leach <br /> lines and pits . The remaining six ( 6) permits reviewed covered <br /> other properties along North Bruella Road. Five (5) permits were <br /> for a combination of leach lines and pits construction. One ( 1 ) <br /> permit was for a combination of leach lines and a drainage <br /> reservoir (sump) . These septic systems were installed between <br /> October , 1970 and December , 1987 . <br /> There were three (3) soil types recorded in the eight ( 8) <br /> permits reviewed and were listed as hardpan, loam, and clay loam. <br /> Existing Land Use : <br /> There are three areas devoted to homesites on Parcel No. 2 , <br /> along the westerly side of the 94 . 1 acres . At the time of this soil <br /> suitability study, a small portion at the north end of the most <br /> northerly homesite and the 94 . 1 acres , was a plowed, open and <br /> undeveloped field. The rest of the land surrounding the homesites <br /> to the east and south is grassland and devoted to the grazing of <br /> cattle and horses . <br /> John and Wally Borges MS-91-67 , Parcel Nos . 1 & 2 <br />
