Supplemental Soil Suitability Study 5
dated 2-1-92 and are tabulated as follows:
Parcel No. Test Hole Percolation Rate Minimum Usable
No. (Minutes Per Inch) Disposal Area
1 1B (3' ) 120 Failed
(This supplemental (This supple-
study) mental study)
1 1C (24'-06") 30 12,000 Sq. Ft.
(This supplemental (This supple- + Pits
study) mental study)
2 1 (31 ) 10 8,000 Sq. Ft.
(This supplemental (2-1-92 study)
study)
Recommendations :
Even though the soil porosity test result for Parcel No. 2 in this
Supplemental Soil Suitability Study which is covered in the Soil Suitability
Study, dated 2-1-92, for Parcel Map No. MS-91-67, Parcel No. 1 , indicates the
soil will accomodate a leach field installation, the varying nature of the soils
encountered within this 40 acre parcel indicates that a 12,000 square feet
minimum disposal area plus pits would be appropriate at the time of construction,
especially if the sewage system is opted to be constructed at a location differ-
ent than that tested at and shown in the Soil Suitability Study dated 2-1-92.
Soil porosity does not permit the use of a subsurface horizontal leach field
for Parcel No. 1 of this Supplemental Soil Suitability Study since the 3-foot
depth percolation test failed to meet the San Joaquin Public Health Service,
Environmental Health Division minimum requirements. However, the deep perco-
lation test did conform to San Joaquin County Public Health Service, Environmen-
tal Health Division minimum requirements, and effluent is recommended to be dis-
charged into a 12,000 square feet minimum disposal area in combination with
subsurface horizontal leach lines into seepage pits at a maximum depth of twenty-
five (25) feet.
Well Water Analysis :
Both domestic and agricultural well water was tested in my Soil Suit-
ability Study, dated February 1 , 1992, Parcel Map No. MS-91-67, Parcel Nos.
1 and 2, at 26246 North Bruella Road, GAlt, California 95632, and are appli-
cable to Parcel Nos. 1 and 2 of this Supplemental Soil Suitability Study.
Refer to the "Well Water Analysis" section and the three (3) FGL letters, one
dated 1-27-92 and two dated 2-3-92 in my Soil Suitability Study, dated 2-1-92.
Engineer's Statement:
Septic systems can be installed to the density proposed and it is not
C. Ryan Voohees MS-92-84
Parcel Nos. 1 and 2
