PURPOSE OF THIS ADDENDUM: Additional percolation tests to comply with current EHD
standards.
On 5-8 and 6-21 of 2002 percolation tests were conducted by permit SR29527. Parcel 2 tests
met the test requirements. Parcel 1 and Parcel 3 tests failed.
On August 15 percolation tests were conducted on Parcel I and 3. (SR30816)
TESTING SUMMARY
On August 14, 2002 the undersigned accompanied Hillside Drilling to the site. One shallow hole
(36"-42") and one 25' hole were drilled by a truck mounted auger on the parcels to be tested. The
hole depths were measured and conformed to depth requirements of the EHD. Mr. Walt Curtis, a
Civil Engineer, licensed in the State of California, conducted the tests. Mr. Johnny Yoakum,
R.E.H.S. was present for the critical readings. All tests failed to meet the current standards. The
test reports are contained in this submittal.
RECOMMENDATION
Parcel 1 and Parcel 3 require a septic system designed by a e 'stered Sanitarianr Licensed p
Civil Engineer. Parcel l tests are satisfactory. Additional t sting does not appear warranted. 'q
WATER TESTS
On Aug. 13,2002 the FGL Laboratory representative obtained a sample of water from the
irrigation well on Parcel 1 for testing. The testing results are satisfactory (DBCP and Nitrates)
and are included in this Addendum No. 1.
This concludes our analysis and testing for the Francisco Pimental site.
Eamesf F. Smith, P.E.
