Participation in the SJMSCP satisfies requirements of both the <br /> state and federal endangered species acts,and ensures that the impacts are mitigated below a <br /> level of significance in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act(CEQA). <br /> Although participation in the SJMSCP is voluntary, ]cad agents should be aware that if project <br /> applicants choose against participating in the SJMSCP,they will be required to provide <br /> alternative mitigation in an amount and kind equal to that provided in the SJMSCP. <br /> SJCOG,Inc.has reviewed application PA-0400727(MS).This project involves subdividing two <br /> existing parcels into three parcels containing 103 acres, 88 acres and 82 acres. The project site is <br /> located north of Liberty Road and east of Mackvil)e Road;north of Clements. <br /> Any future structure(s)may require the conversion of Natural habitat and as such should <br /> condition the project applicant(s)to participate in the SJMSCP prior to development. <br /> The project is located within the unmapped land use areas and as per the requirements of the <br /> SJMSCP those projects are subject to case-by-case review by the Habitat Technical Advisory <br /> Committee(TAC)prior to participation. <br /> If you have any questions,please give me a call at (209)468-3913. <br />
