No permits were found during a recent file review at EHD.
A well water sample was taken on June 2, 2008 by Jessen Welch from the domestic well on the
Site.
✓4.4 Water Sample Constituents
The water sample was analyzed for nitrate and DBCP. The results for this sample are
r
forthcoming.
4.5 Well Water Sample Collection, Handling, and Transportation
The sample for nitrate was collected in a sterile plastic container; the sample for DBCP was
collected in two sterile glass vials. The samples were then transported on ice and remanded
under chain of custody to FGL Environmental, Stockton.
4.6 Chain of Custody
The Chain of Custody documentation has been included in the appendix of this report.
5.0 SOIL PROFILE AND GEOLOGIC INFORMATION
The Site is depicted on the California Geologic Survey Map of the Sacramento Quadrangle as
within the Quaternary Turlock Lake Formation. This unit is described as deeply weathered
arkosic gravels with minor resistant metamorphic rock fragments and quartz pebbles (see Plate
5).
The surface and near surface soils located at the Site are reported by the San Joaquin County
Soil Survey to be composed of Kaseberg fine sandy loam, 2-15 % slopes; Pardee cobbly loam,
3-15 % slopes and Pentz sandy loam, 2-15 % slopes (Plate 6) (USDA, 1992). The following
table presents some selected properties of these soils.
"044
902 Industrial Way• Lodi,CA 95240•209.367.3701 • Fax 209.369.4228 12008 Nei/O.Anderson&,Is,roeiaies./it,
