The engineered septic design was required by the San Joaquin Environmental Health <br /> Department because of cemented soils and slow percolation rates encountered on the property. <br /> The resulting engineered septic design is 2.8 times the size of a standard septic system in order <br /> to help compensate for the poor soil conditions on site. Please see the Soil Suitability Study and <br /> the attached plan sheets for more detail regarding percolation rates and site information. <br /> Enclosed are three (3) copies of the Soil Suitability Study and five (5) copies of the above <br /> Engineered Septic Design and the accompanying invoice. To proceed with your land use <br /> application, please submit one (1) original copy of the Soil Suitability Study and three (3) copies <br /> of the Engineered Septic Plans to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department, <br /> 600 East Main Street, Stockton, CA 95202, along with the required review fee of $196.
