Liberty Road, Galt <br /> The Environmental Health Department has the following concerns on this pre-application that <br /> need to be addressed: <br /> A. In accordance with the San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2, the <br /> Environmental Health Department shall require the applicant to prepare a Soil <br /> Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study that shall address the following issues: <br /> 1) The potential development of one-hundred-eight(108)residential units Primary and <br /> secondary homes) <br /> 2) The suitability of the soil(s) to utilize septic systems, including percolation rates(s) <br /> and soil profile(s). <br /> 3) Depth and gradient of water table(s). <br /> 4) Historical uses of the properties to assess potential problems. <br /> The Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study shall be prepared and submitted to the <br /> Environmental Health Department at time of the formal Zone Reclassification Application. <br /> The fee for review of the study is$490.00. <br /> B. This general area has seen increased growth over the past ten(10)years. The Environmental <br /> Health Department shall require the applicant to have a professional hydrologist/engineer <br /> review groundwater historical usage and potential growth usage. The study should include <br /> data to support that the potential one-hundred-eight(108)residential units could be assured <br /> by a professional to have an expectation of adequate water for domestic and agricultural <br /> needs if this area is built out. The report shall be prepared and submitted to the <br /> Environmental Health Department at time of the formal Zone Reclassification Application as <br /> an addendum to the Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study, or submitted separately with a <br /> review fee of$196.00. <br />
