The result of the deep <br /> ' pereolatioD test achieved a satisfactory percolation rate of less than 3.8 minutes per inch. <br /> 5.0 SUITABILITY OF EXISTING,SEPTIC SYSTEM <br /> As describedp reviouslY,the existing septic system,is composed of two tanks and one disposal <br /> area connected by tight lines. According to a septic system permit dated l l/18/92, the sewage <br /> disposal area is two (2) filter beds, 6.5 feet-by 80 feet each. The filter bed area was designed for <br /> 10 to 15 employees. <br /> It is estimated that for the proposed expansion„ a maximum of 37 employees and 5 customers <br /> will be on site during atypical 5 day work week. The caretaker residence is a 2 bedroom mobile <br /> home occupied by 1 person."Fifteen(15) gallons per day per person was assigned for the 37 <br /> einployees for an industrial building category(no cafeteria)according to the San Joaquin County <br /> Sewage Stan&ids. An estimate of 5 gallons per day per person was made for customers. <br /> According to the text book titled Small and Decentralized Wastewater.Management Systems by <br /> Crites and Tchobanoglous 6, 70 gallons per day per person was assigned to the mobile home <br /> occupant.
