The following Uniform Building Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance requirements will <br /> be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to the <br /> Building Inspection Division: <br /> a. The proposed use will change the occupancy from an R-3 (residence) occupancy to <br /> a B-2 (office) occupancy (U.B.C. Section 502). The structure must be brought Into <br /> compliance with all current code provisions Including structural, plumbing, <br /> mechanical, electrical, energy and handicap requirements. <br /> b. Provide restrooms conforming with all disabled access requirements(C.C.R,Title 24). <br /> 2. The Construction Site Plan shall indicate the following: <br /> a. Provide parking for the physically handicapped. The space(s) shall be located as <br /> close as possible to the primary entrance (C.C.R., Title 24). <br /> b. Provide identification signs for the parking space(s) Including the"tow away" sign at <br /> each entrance or visible from each space (C.C.R., Title 24). <br /> C. The slope of a parking space shall not exceed 1/4 inch per foot (C.C.R, Title 24). <br /> 3. This use does not qualify for a home occupation because the use changes the occupancy <br /> from a residence to an office. <br /> JH/CF:hb <br />
