(§(,2; 3 and On April 20, 2016, 0800 Ins, a shallow perc test boring of 42 inches was
hand-drilled in the locations illustrated on the attached Tentative Map, approximately 100 ft north
of Linne Road. This distance will allow any future residence convenient utility access from Linne
Road. The sidewalls of the shallow borings were scored with a pry-bar and the loose material
removed. Two inches of fine gravel was placed at the bottom and a three-inch perforated PVC
pipe was inserted into both test borings. The borings were then pre-saturated with 18 inches of
clear water.
(§6 On April 21,2016, 0700 hrs, percolation testing commenced. There was no standing water
er the 24-hour soak period in the perc test borings due to the silty-sandy type soil, as illustrated in
Table 1 below. Consequently, EHD Perc Test Procedure#2 was conducted for the three test borings.
The last half hour of the test was witnessed by Frank Girardi, R.E.H.S. of the San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department. The maximum acceptable perc rate is 60 min/in for shallow
depth perc lest borings. Therefore, the perc tests passed by an approximate factor of 8.
i
1.4 and 6.8) The following Table illustrates the proposed Parcel number, septic system
cture to be installed based on the depth of the passing perc rate, proposed acreage, post soak
period status and perc test results for the respective perc test.
TABLE 1
PERCOLATION TEST RESULTS AND RELATED DATA
PROPOSED PARCEL PROPOSED PERC TEST DEPTHS POST SOAK PERC TEST
POTENTIAL SEPTIC ACREAGE PERIOD RESULTS
SYSTEM STRUCTURE
Parcel 1 2.00±Acres 40 INCHES No Standing 6.6 min/in
lou Foot Leaehhnes Per Water in Hole PASSING
Bedroom. The map shows the groundwater
depth under the subject property area to be approximately 50+ ft below grade. The 2015 Lines of
Equal Elevation Map illustrates the groundwater directional flow in a northeasterly direction
toward the San Joaquin River. The property is in Flood Zone C and not subject to 100-year
flooding.
Page -3-
