INTRODUCTION <br /> F Our office was contracted by Mr.Jeff Colombini of Lodi Fanning to conduct a Nitrate Loading <br /> Study (NLS) for the property at Highway 88 and Live Oak Road in Lodi, California. Please refer to <br /> the relevant sections of the Soil Suitability Study (SSS) dated November 3,2005 prepared by our <br /> office for introductory project details, site plan, and location map. This Nitrate Loading Study is <br /> F1 being completed in anticipation of requirements from the Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD) of San Joaquin County. <br /> F1To expedite EHD review, the.formatting of this report has been designed to follow, to the <br /> greatest degree possible, the structure of the EHD's Nitrate Loading Study Requirements <br /> Checklist, dated July 14, 2003. <br /> The proposed use of the subject property is an Olive Mill processing facility on a 8.2 acre site. <br /> F! <br /> Siegfried Engineering, of Stockton California, the project Civil Engineering firm, has indicated that <br /> ! the site is comprised of portions from APN 063-100-19, 063-080-25, and 063-130-01. After a lot <br /> line adjustment (PA-05-00482), the 8.2 acre site shall be joined with APN 063-080-25. At present, <br /> the project application is unassigned by San Joaquin County. The peak operating season for the <br /> facility is approximately 40 days per year. The staff will consist of three employees working two 12- <br /> hour shifts, seven days per week. During other times of the year (for 325 days of the year) one or <br /> two employees will visit the site once or twice a week for limited periods. No visitors or customers <br /> are planned. <br /> A Report of Waste Discharge has been prepared by Ground Zero Analysis, Inc. of Stockton, <br /> California. The report has been recently submitted to the California Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board.
