The project site is located on the south side of State Route 12(SR
12)at Locust Tree Road, east of Lodi. The Department has the following comments:
• Traffic Operations requires Existing and Existing Plus Project intersection AM/PM and
Saturday Peak Hour volumes in order to determine impacts to SR 12.
• At this time the winery only has access fi-om Locust Tree Road, are they asking for direct
access off of SR 12 now or in the near future? If so, an encroachment permit will be
required from Caltrans.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss our comments in more detail, please contact
Kathy Selsor at(209) 948-7190(e-mail" kathv selsor(@dot.ca.gov) or me at(209) 941-1921,
Sincerely,
TOM DUMAS, CHIEF
OFFICE OF METROPOLITAN
"Caltrans improves mobillryaerass Califwnta"
