An additional residence is located on the eastern border, north of the dairy area.
The silos are no longer visible in the aerial photograph. A large pond adjacent to the
creek is located in the central portion of the site.
The adjacent properties appear relatively unchanged from the 1984 aerial photograph
with the exception of a dairy north of the subject site, and the farm operation to the
_ northwest and northeast of the site appears to be a dairy farm.
Year: 1998
Scale: 1 inch = 666 feet
Type: Black and White
Quality: Good
The subject site and adjacent properties appear essentially unchanged from the 1993
aerial photograph.
5. SEPTIC PERMITS AND PERFORMANCE
SJCEHD files were s c to identify septic and well permits arcels in the project
vicinity. There were six per is on file for the northern parce no ermits were on file-
for the southern parcel. S en additional permits were reviev ddor-parcels—"ted
_ adjacent to or near the subject property. These permits were for new installations and
repairs/additions to existing septic systems. The permitted sewage-disposal systems
were for conventional septic/leach field systems. The permits viewed and a summary of
information obtained from the permits are presented in Appendix C.
6. FIELD INVESTIGATION
In order to evaluate the subsurface conditions at the project site, on July 14, 2008, three
soil profile borings were drilled within each proposed parcel to depths of about 9, 15,
and 12 feet below existing site grade, respectively. The borings were drilled using a
Simco 2800 truck-mounted drill rig equipped with 6-inch O.D. solid-stem auger. The
approximate boring locations are presented on Plate 2. A representative with our firm
maintained logs of the borings and visually classified the soils encountered according to
the Unified Soil Classification System (see Plate A-1 of Appendix A). A key to the Logs
of Borings is presented on Plate A-2, and the Logs of Borings are presented on Plates
A-3, A-4, and A-5 ofAppendix A.
95671.G01/ST08R738 August 15,2008
©2008 Kleinfelder Page 3 of 6
r
