k4 KLEINFELDER <br /> facilities up to a mile radius from the site. Environmental liens or activity and use <br /> limitations are included in this chapter. Records provided by the client are <br /> summarized and copies of relevant documents are included in the Appendices of <br /> _ this report. Interviews and telephone conversations conducted by Kleinfelder <br /> with people knowledgeable about the site (including the client) and local <br /> regulatory personnel are included in Chapter 7. <br /> • Chapter 5, Historical Use of the Property and Adjoining Properties, <br /> summarizes the history of the site and adjoining properties. This history is based <br /> on various sources which may include: a review of aerial photographs, Sanborn <br /> Fire Insurance Maps, city or suburban directories, historical topographic maps, <br /> building department records, previous assessments, and a chain-of-title/ <br /> ., preliminary title report (if provided by the client). <br /> • Chapter 6, Site Reconnaissance, describes Kleinfelder's site observations <br /> during the site reconnaissance. The methodology used and limiting conditions <br /> are described. <br /> • Chapter 7, Interviews, is a summary of telephone and personal interviews <br /> conducted with "Key Managers" that may include the owner/manager of the <br /> facility, occupants/tenants, local government officials, and the client. Additional <br /> interview sources may be contacted if "Key Managers" are not available prior to <br /> production of this report and include adjacent landowners and people with <br /> historical knowledge of the area <br /> • Chapter 8, Evaluation is a presentation of our findings and opinions regarding <br /> the information in Chapters 3 through 7; and presents our conclusion regarding <br /> .. the presence of recognized environmental conditions at the site. <br /> • Chapter 9, References, is a summary of the resources used to compile this <br /> report. <br /> • Pertinent documentation regarding the subject site is included in Appendices of <br /> this report. <br /> 2.3. ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> An evaluation of business environmental risk associated with the parcels) was not <br /> included in Kleinfelder's scope of work.
