ASSURED INSPECTION MANAGEMENT
AIM Or
TESTING LABORATORY
(Page 4 )
VII SOIL PROFILE AND PERCOLATION TESTS (Continued)
Percolation tests were commenced on May 13, 1991 by a
representative of our firm. Three ( 3 ) percolation tests
conducted at a depth of 42" were disregarded as part of this
report due to failure of water to percolate within the
established requirements set forth by San Joaquin County.
Three ( 3 ) percolation tests performed to the maximum depth
allowed of 25 feet were found to be satisfactory upon completion
of testing. Due to sandy soil conditions and faster percolation
rates, readings were taken 10 minutes apart over a one hour
period. The readings obtained during the last 10 minutes of
testing were used to calculate the percolation rate in minutes
per inch. The results were about one (1 ) minute per inch. See
enclosed test data .
VIII CONCLUSION
Based on the past performance of existing septic systems on the
property and nearby properties, the soil profiles encountered,
and the results of the percolation tests; it is our professional
opinion that the subject property is well suited for the
proposed septic system and for the continued use of the present
septic systems .
Sinc el —
Y.
