Other Requirements may also apply. These Requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. A soil suitability study/nitrate loading study indicating that the area is suitable for septic tank <br /> )tot usage must be performed prior to acceptance of the application as required by Section 9- <br /> 1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development Title. A nitrate loading study is required <br /> and a review fee of$390.00 must be paid at time of submittal to Environmental Health <br /> Division. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$78.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> (ORD/EHD) <br /> B. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical dibromochloropropane <br /> (DBCP) and nitrates for the Nitrate Loading Study. Samples are to be taken and analyzed by <br /> a State-approved laboratory. (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.7). <br /> C. Open, pump, and backfill the septic tank, seepage pit or excavation under permit and <br /> inspection by the Environmental Health Division.
