Manure Management Plan
Sierra View Animal Health
Overview: The proposed project at 26650 E. Lone Tree is a Food
Animal Veterinary Practice and Consultants office. The space will be
used to house supplies, support staff, office space, and meeting area
primarily. There are 3 full time employees and one part time
employee generating waste. The majority of animal veterinary work
is done off site. Occasionally, 1-2 patients per week are seen at the
office, on an outpatient basis (approximately 2 % of our business).
Our Site Approval Plan calls for a maximum of two animals boarded
daily and for a maximum of 15 animals for four days, one time every
quarter. The plan is stated for the maximum and the practice is not
planning on this happening. Typical usage will be animals seen on
an outpatient basis. As stated earlier we currently see 1-2 patients
per week at the office and none of them is boarded. Types of animals
currently seen at the office are small ruminants-sheep and goats, and
small calves. We do anticipate we will see mature cows occasionally
