7.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
The analytical results of soil from the bioremediated treatment cell indicate that BTEX
constituents were non-detect and TPH as diesel ranged from non-detected to 32 ppm.
The highest value for TPH diesel was cell #7 which was sampled back in October,
1993 and is most likely much lower at this time. The analyses show that the
bioremediation of diesel impacted soils from the excavated site have lowered
concentrations to well below the regulatory criteria of 100 ppm for TPH (diesel) and
non-detected for BTEX. Therefore, AGI recommends closure of the Derickson trucking
site.
8.0 LIMITATIONS
AquaGeosciences, Inc. performed this investigation in accordance with
generally accepted standards of care which exist in California at this time. It
should be recognized that definition and evaluation of geologic conditions is a
difficult and inexact science. Judgments leading to conclusions and
recommendations are generally made with limited knowledge of surface
conditions present. No warranty expressed or implied, is made.
9 of 9
