L/L
one Tree Road -2 - 30 October 1998
Ln, San Joaquin County
L ary.
Based on soil samples collected from the UST excavation and soil borings, low concentrations of TPHg
L and BTEX constituents are present in soil below and adjacent to the former USTs. The lateral extent of
contamination is less than 10 feet in the north and east directions and less than 15 feet to the south.
The vertical extent of appears to be less than 20 feet bgs, with very low concentrations of total xylene
encountered at 35 feet bgs in SB 1. Analytical results indicate that the ratio of total xylenes to benzene is
large, suggesting some degree of degradation of the fuel constituents in soil.
Groundwater was not encountered during excavation or drilling activities, and there is no indication that
r the residual soil contamination will pose a threat to water quality. Based on the information presented
for this site, I concur with the recommendation by SJCEHD for No Further Action Required.
L
60
L
6.
L
i
L
L
L.
1
L
L
L
