j) SIGNS: Sign details shall be consistent with Chapter 9-1710 of the Development Title and be included on the Site Plan. All portions of any sign shall be set back a minimum of five (5)feet from any future right-of-way line, including any comer cut-off (snipe). (Development Title Section 9- 1710.2[g]) k) BUILDING CODE REQUIREMENTS: The following California Building Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to the Building Inspection Division: I) The Construction Site Plan shall indicate the following: ii) Provide parking for the physically disabled. The space(s) shall be located as close as possible to the primary entrance (C.C.R.,Title 24). iii) Provide identification signs for the parking space(s) including the "tow away" sign at each entrance or visible from each space(C.C.R.,Title 24). iv) The slope of a parking space shall not exceed 1/4 inch per foot(C.C.R.,Title 24). v) Provide one van parking space. vi) Provide engineered plans and upgrades for restrooms conforming with all disabled access requirements (C.C.R.,Title 24, Uniform Plumbing Code,Table 4-1. vii) Provide engineered plans for occupancy change and mechanical venting. 1) CALIFORNIA FIRE CODE The following California Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to the Community Development Department for a building permit: i) Fire protection systems shall be installed according to the California Fire Code and the appropriate standards and guides adopted in the California Building Code and the California Electrical Code. ii) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with the California Fire Code, Section 906. iii) Fire flow and hydrants will be provide for the proposed project by the use of: (1) NFPA 1142 of the National Fire Code. iv) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 503.2 of the California Fire Code and the standard adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. v) Key Boxes:A Knox Box shall be installed according to the local fire department's instructions. vi) Fire Permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life or property C.F.C. 105.1.1. 2.
