j) SIGNS: Sign details shall be consistent with Chapter 9-1710 of the Development Title and be <br /> included on the Site Plan. All portions of any sign shall be set back a minimum of five (5)feet from <br /> any future right-of-way line, including any comer cut-off (snipe). (Development Title Section 9- <br /> 1710.2[g]) <br /> k) BUILDING CODE REQUIREMENTS: The following California Building Code and San Joaquin <br /> County Ordinance requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans <br /> before submittal to the Building Inspection Division: <br /> I) The Construction Site Plan shall indicate the following: <br /> ii) Provide parking for the physically disabled. The space(s) shall be located as close as possible <br /> to the primary entrance (C.C.R.,Title 24). <br /> iii) Provide identification signs for the parking space(s) including the "tow away" sign at each <br /> entrance or visible from each space(C.C.R.,Title 24). <br /> iv) The slope of a parking space shall not exceed 1/4 inch per foot(C.C.R.,Title 24). <br /> v) Provide one van parking space. <br /> vi) Provide engineered plans and upgrades for restrooms conforming with all disabled access <br /> requirements (C.C.R.,Title 24, Uniform Plumbing Code,Table 4-1. <br /> vii) Provide engineered plans for occupancy change and mechanical venting. <br /> 1) CALIFORNIA FIRE CODE The following California Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance <br /> Code requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before <br /> submittal to the Community Development Department for a building permit: <br /> i) Fire protection systems shall be installed according to the California Fire Code and the <br /> appropriate standards and guides adopted in the California Building Code and the California <br /> Electrical Code. <br /> ii) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with the California Fire Code, Section 906. <br /> iii) Fire flow and hydrants will be provide for the proposed project by the use of: <br /> (1) NFPA 1142 of the National Fire Code. <br /> iv) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 503.2 of the California Fire <br /> Code and the standard adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. <br /> v) Key Boxes:A Knox Box shall be installed according to the local fire department's instructions. <br /> vi) Fire Permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life or <br /> property C.F.C. 105.1.1. <br /> 2.
