Also presented are boring logs and field <br /> and laboratory test results. <br /> Limitations <br /> This report has been prepared for San Joaquin Limited and PSE, Inc. to be <br /> used solely in the planning and design of the San Joaquin Limited Cogeneration <br /> Facility in Lathrop, San Joaquin County, California. In performing our profes- <br /> sional services, we have used the degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised <br /> under similar circumstances by reputable geotechnical engineers practicing, at <br /> this time, in this or similar localities. No other warranty, expressed or <br /> implied, is made as to the professional interpretations included in this report. <br /> This report is issued with the understanding that it is the responsibility <br /> of our client to transmit the information and recommendations of this report to <br /> developers, owners, buyers, Architects, Engineers, and Designers for the project <br /> so that the necessary steps can be taken by the Contractors and Subcontractors to <br /> carry out such recommendations in the field. The conclusions and recommendations <br /> contained in this report are solely professional opinions derived in accordance <br /> with current standards of professional practice. " <br /> The scope of our services did not include any environmental assessment or <br /> investigation for the presence or absence of hazardous or toxic materials in the <br /> soil, surface water, groundwater or air, on or below or around this site. Any <br /> statements or lack of statements in this report or on the soil boring logs <br /> regarding odors or materials noted as well as unusual or suspicious items or <br /> conditions observed are strictly for the information of our client. Although <br /> some of the site may have been affected by previous material disposal practices, <br /> consideration of environmental and hazardous waste issues is beyond the scope of <br /> our study. Recommendations offered relative to site development, foundation <br /> design and construction, and earthwork activities are offered without consider- <br /> ation of environmental liability implications.
