U.S. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY <br /> UNDERGROUND INJECTION CONTROL PERMIT: CLASS I <br /> Permit Number CAS900000001 <br /> Pursuant to the Underground Injection Control regulations of the <br /> U.S. Environmental Protection Agency codified at Title 40 of the <br /> Code of Federal Regulations, Parts 124 , 144, 146, 147, and 148 . <br /> San Joaquin CoGen Ltd. <br /> 9432 Old Katy Road <br /> Houston, TX 77055 <br /> is hereby authorized to construct and operate a Class I Non- <br /> hazardous waste injection well identified as Deep Injection Well <br /> #1 located at <br /> Libby-Owens-Ford Plant, <br /> approximately 1/2 mile southeast of the <br /> intersection of Interstate 5 and Louise Avenue <br /> San Joaquin County, California <br /> T. 1 S. , R. 6 E. , Section 34, <br /> Mount Diablo Base and Meridian. <br /> Injection is authorized into the Lower Lathrop sands of the <br /> Panoche Formation, upon the express condition that the permittee <br /> meet the restrictions set forth herein. Injection shall not com- <br /> mence until the operator has received written authorization from <br /> the Director to inject. <br /> All references to Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations are <br /> to all regulations that are in effect on the date that this per- <br /> mit is effective. The following attachments are incorporated <br /> into this permit: Attachment O, Contingency Plan; Attachment Q, <br /> Plugging and Abandonment Plan; and Attachment R, Financial <br /> Assurance. <br />
