Lovely Road,Tracy <br /> The Environmental Health Department has the following concerns on this pre-application that <br /> need to be addressed (state specifics). <br /> A. The Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability/nitrate loading study <br /> incorporating proposed staff and customer use, indicating that the area is suitable for septic <br /> system usage. This must be performed prior to issuance of building permit(s). A nitrate <br /> loading study is required, and a review fee of$475.00 must be paid at time of submittal to the <br /> Environmental Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$95.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> B. The well must be repaired under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health <br /> Department(San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.4(e)) as follows: <br /> a. Provide a well sample tap prior to pressure tank. <br /> C. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane <br /> (DBCP)and nitrates prior to issuance of building permit(s). Samples are to be taken and <br /> analyzed by a State-approved laboratory (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> 1115.7). <br /> D. Submit a revised site plan or map to the Environmental Health Department showing sewage <br /> and well information that clearly delineates the proposed locations as required by ordinance <br /> requirements (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.4). <br /> State on revised site plans the maximum number of employees and customers the sewage <br /> disposal system is being designed for. In addition, show on revised plans that the leach field <br /> area will be barricaded so it cannot be driven over,parked on, or used as a storage area. This <br /> leach field area must be used for that specific purpose only, and it cannot contain any <br /> underground utility lines(San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.4(c)(5)). <br /> In addition, the revised site plan shall incorporate the 100%designed sewage disposal <br /> replacement area. <br />
