Hazelton Ave. <br /> Stockton, CA 95205 <br /> RE: Permit# PA-0900030 (Entertainment Permit) for Paradise Club, 10114 Lower <br /> Sacramento Rd., Stockton, CA 95210 <br /> John, <br /> The Stockton Fire Department has received the subject application for review. The <br /> request is to allow live entertainment and dancing within an existing (established) night <br /> club/bar. Upon review, the following conditions shall be applicable: <br /> a. Renew the fire permit to operate as a Place of Assembly. The business' current <br /> fire permit has expired in December of 2008. Our records indicate the business <br /> has not yet paid for their 2009 fire permit; <br /> b. The Stockton Fire Department will require an occupancy load calculation to be <br /> designed for both night club use and dancing. A sign shall be posted in a <br /> conspicuous location reflecting the calculated loads; <br /> c. Portable fire extinguishers having a minimum rating and classification of 2A:10BC <br /> shall be installed in locations acceptable to the Stockton Fire Department; <br /> d. If the facility has commercial cooking equipment with an existing hood and duct <br /> exhaust system, the fire extinguishing system that serves it shall be updated with <br /> servicing and shall be in compliance with UL 300 Standards; <br /> e. Exit lighting and exit doors shall be in compliance with the California Building <br /> Code (2007 Edition, Chapter 10)for Place of Assembly use; <br /> f. Provide a legible building address number(12-inch height) on the front of the <br /> building and/or monument sign at the driveway entrance; <br /> g. Decorative materials shall be flame treated and a certification of proof or <br /> treatment shall be presented to the Stockton Fire Department upon request; <br /> h.
