Analysis <br /> Background <br /> On August 16, 2001, the Planning Commission approved Use Permit No. UP-00-0021 for a church, Sunday <br /> school, and recreational uses. The project was to be developed in three (3) phases over a five (5) year <br /> period with an expiration date of August 16, 2006. (Use Type: Religious Services-Community [maximum of <br /> 499 seats]). <br /> A Revisions of Approved Actions application was filed by applicant to amend Condition 1.b. to extend the <br /> project completion date for an additional five (5) years with a new expiration date of August 1, 2011, <br /> because of budget constraints, a lack of funding, and increased construction costs. <br /> Revised Conditions of Approval <br /> CDD Condition 1.b. <br /> This request is to change Community Development Department Condition of Approval No. 1.b. as shown below: <br /> 1.b. APPROVED USE: This approval is for the construction of a church facility consisting of religious <br /> services, Sunday school,and some recreational uses as shown on the Plan submitted February 7, 2001 <br /> (Use Type: Religious Services—Community[maximum of 499 seats]). The recreational uses shall be <br /> for church members at scheduled church functions only.
