ORIGINAL FINDINGS
1 The proposed use is consistent with the goals, policies, standards, and maps of the General Plan;
any applicable Master Plan, Specific Plan, and Special Purpose Plan, and any other applicable
plan adopted by the County_
• This finding can be made because the "Religious Services —Community" use type is
consistent with the R/N and R/L General Plan designations and in turn may be
conditionally permitted with a Use Permit in the AU-20 zone. Also, the project and the
traffic mitigation measures are consistent with the adopted Special Purpose Plan for
Lower Sacramento Road.
2 Adequate utilities, roadway improvements, sanitation, water supply, drainage, and other
necessary facilities have been provided, and the proposed improvements are properly related to
existing and proposed roadways.
• This finding can be made because the applicant has proposed on-site septic, water,
and drainage systems, and the project site has the capacity to accommodate these. In
addition, the road improvements required for the project are consistent with the
Special Purpose Plan for Lower Sacramento Road.
3. The site is physically suitable for the type of development and for the intensity of development
• This finding can be made because the plan shows that there is sufficient area for the
new facilities, parking, and circulation, in compliance with County standards.
4. Issuance of the permit will not be significantly detrimental to the public health, safety, or welfare
or be injurious to the property or improvements of adjacent properties
• This finding can be made because the Initial Study prepared for this project found no
potentially significant environmental impacts.
5. The use is compatible with adjoining land uses
• This finding can be made because, with the recommended Conditions of Approval, the
proposed use will not interfere with or alter the current uses on adjacent properties.
Also, a wall is required to be constructed on the property line abutting the parking
areas to screen the project from adjacent properties.
