Parcel 1 consists of 44 acres and currently has no structures on it. ]
A water sample taken from a well at the corner of Lower Sacramento Road and Eight Mile Road
on 4-7-92 indicates a relatively low level of nitrate at 13 ppm. The water sample for this
addendum was taken approximately one-half mile to the west of the subject site at 800 West Eight
Mile Road. This well tested at 38 ppm for nitrate and ND for DBCP and EDB. Therefore, it can
be concluded that there has been impact from agricultural practices in the area. According to the
published groundwater maps, the regional groundwater is approximately 60 feet and directional
flow appears to be toward the east.
Y
It is our opinion nitrate impact is originating from agricultural practices and possibly a small
contribution from septic systems due to the low density housing in the area.
The soil profile in this region consists of a heavy clay soil from 0-8 feet and a medium coarse sand
from eight to 25 feet below grade. Any proposed septic system on the subject property must be
installed utilizing a leachf)eld and seepage sumps which extend into this sand strata. If a septic
system is installed on the subject parcel, our firm should be called out to verify the sumps are of
sufficient depth.
Our reports and letters are submitted as the confidential property of our clients for their exclusive use.Any publication or reproduction of statements, conclusions or extracts from or
regarding our reports or letters Is reserved, contingent upon the written authorization of Quality Control Inspection,Inc.
